Many of us have one of those old and unused PC forgotten and left to rot in the attic. But what about giving it a new life ? Sounds good ?
What you'll need :

1. Disassembly and Cleaning
To disassemble your laptop you might want to see a video guide for your specific laptop. After you completely disassemble your laptop, clean the display, lid, keyboard, and chassis with the cleaning cloth and rubbing alcohol. Make sure that you don't spill the alcohol over the whole thing.

Cooler CPU with new thermal paste
If you want cooler CPU you can also replace the thermal paste on your PC. First remove the heatsink and/or fan from your PC, then remove the thermal paste on your CPU using some cotton sticks and rubbing alcohol. Then apply a blob of new thermal paste, then simply put the heatsink back again and press firmly.

Buy new RAM with capacity of your PC's need, so combined your PC will got more 4 GB or more of RAM. But be careful, check your computer's maximum supported RAM capacity before buying more RAM.Source : https://www.technibble.com |

I would recommend the Samsung 850 EVO, I've bought one and I've used it on my daily computer. It is fast, affordable, and available in various capacities.
3. Reassembly
Of course you need to put all the parts together again. Make sure you don't left anything behind.
4. Installing fresh OS
Since the new SSD is empty, you need to install a new OS. It'd be better if you install a newer OS, if you use windows then you better get Windows 10. If you use Mac then you should install the latest version of Mac OS your Mac supports.
