OPPO F1s review after 5 months

The OPPO F1s has been my daily phone for 5 months, and I feel satisfied with this phone. It's a mid-class smartphone with 5.5 inch display, so this is a big phone.

This phone has a 2.5D glass on the front, and metal body on the back which feels very good, the phone also have a nice grip on hand, which I like. I'm not using this phone with a case, since using a case on this phone ruins the metal body feel and grip. I've used this phone for 5 months, and I haven't dropped it accidentally, so you shouldn't be worried about this phone slipping from your hands. But there are some little scratches on the back, but I don't regret to keep my phone case-less.

The F1s is a selfie focused phone, so that it has 16-megapixel camera on the front, and 13-megapixel main camera with an LED flash. Picture quality is quite nice, but the front cam takes better shots compared to the main camera. The camera takes picture quickly, but sometimes the autofocus doesn't work very well. To compare picture quality, I will use Microsoft Lumia 640 XL as reference, the Lumia also has 13-megapixel camera on the back.

In daily use, this phone feels snappy since it has Octa-core processor. But running some heavy games such as CSR Racing 2, the game lags a bit, and the phone gets extremely warm. However other games such as Monument Valley and Alto's Adventure runs smoothly.

Battery life is standard, a full charge will gives about 2 days of normal usage. It also has a Low Power mode, which turns off GPS, Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, and some services that drains your battery. The phone takes around 2 hours to charge from 10% to 100% with the 2A power brick.

OPPO haven't rolled out new Android version updates for this phone, so this phone still runs Android 5.1 Lollipop to date, which is heavily styled in what they called, ColorOS. The ColorOS UI really looks like iOS, without an app drawer and the app icons are designed to look like iOS.
